Your Stay & Things To Do

some things we think you would enjoy

Observe the wildlife

Forty acres of land provides an abundant range of birds and wildlife with the shy Lyrebird being glimpsed in the natural bush corridors running through the property. Take a torch and go spotlighting for wombats. There are lots of them around the property and they are out and about all year round.

Do some fishing

There are five dams located around the property allowing for irrigation, fishing for silver perch and yabbying.

Have a BBQ

A covered BBQ area is ideally situated at the edge of a large grassed area, between the cellar door, overlooking a natural gully and the vineyards. Visitors and guests are welcome to utilise these facilities at any time during their stay.

Enjoy a 'wine & cheese picnic'

Enjoy wine and cheese plate as a picnic on the property or at one of many beautiful spots in the area. Ask about the special lookout close by in Budgong where you can enjoy a sunset or sunrise.

Wine and cheese plate is $80 and includes: a bottle of our organic wine with 2 local cheeses, Kangaroo Valley Olives, chutney, jam, homemade oat biscuits and sea salt crackers.

Relax

Why not relax and read a book in the gentle swing of the Adinrock chairs? Or are you a budding artist? Take your easel and a few paints and spend a session of mindful painting in our peaceful surroundings.

A simple suggestion of how your stay might look like:

FRIDAY - Get back to nature and enjoy the peace and quiet
Arrive Friday afternoon and wander around the property. A walk through the vineyard is always a lovely way to prepare for a cheese plate and wine tasting in the cellar. Stay in and make use of our BBQ area to enjoy your evening meal with a bottle of organic red wine. Your room is just a 15m walk away.

SATURDAY - Take advantage of the many wonderful natural features of the area
Beaches, mountains, canoeing, bike riding, horse riding & climbing for those you enjoy the physical challenge. Vineyards, local foods & produce and boutique shops in Berry for those who like to take it easier. Come back to us to unwind around the fire pit, toast a marshmallow and count the stars.

Take advantage of staying 10 minutes from the beautiful properties of Bundanon, coincide your visit with one of the many fabulous events and exhibitions held there.
